Orion's Belt (2013 Demo)

from Alphabet Songbook (Demo collection) by Louis Ruben

/

lyrics

And then I wondered
Are these moles on my arms
In precise formations like the stars?
Or scattered, random, without a plan?

All I know is there's so much we don't know.
And all I see is too much hunger, pain and greed.
But when i sit and breathe with the beautiful sea
All that tragic separation seems to melt
And I'm just another peaceful notch on Orion's Belt.

Just another peaceful notch on Orion's Belt.

Meditation is the key, it should be taught in schools.
It belongs to no religion and you can mix up all the rules.
GCSE'S have served us well but now it's time for something new.
A test of our compassion to make sure Mother Earth pulls through!

All I know is there's so much we don't know.
And all I see is too much hunger, pain and greed.
But when i sit and breathe with the beautiful sea.
All that tragic separation seems to melt
And I'm just another peaceful notch on Orion's Belt.

Just another peaceful notch on Orion's Belt.
