I felt the touch of a guardian angel.
When I feared for my life on that drug-fueled night.
I went over the top again.
No respect for my health, losing track of my self.

When the spirit of my Grandma reached out her hand for me.
My fear of dying disappeared.
Touched by this heavenly peace.
Just like the softest little white feather
Glided down to earth to comfort me.
And even though I'd never met her.
She seemed to know my deepest dreams.

Yeah, she knew me, much better than me.
And she gave me what I needed to help me see
What I really needed.
