We take a slow stroll to a nice patch of grass.
Chemicals swim around our bloodstream, fast.
Start to talk about times, present and past.
Just gazing at night's sky, dark and vast.
It felt like the perfect spot.
We're back to basics, resting on the ground.
The cricket's chant as we look up to the clouds.
A simple question triggers an amazing conversation,
about life and death, difficult times, and meanings.
To our surprise, we saw three shooting stars: one for each of us.
Three best friends.
We then saw: everything happens for a reason and everyone and everything is equal.
It felt like the perfect spot, coincidence or not?
As cigarettes keep our lungs warm, we share a hug.
Knowing that if we could, we would just blend into one.
This is one of the best conversations I've ever had.
Just pour out your heart, I will listen, and understand.
